A subrack is a mandatory device and houses UGW9811 boards, including the Switching Route Units (SRUs), Switching Fabric Units (SFUs), Service Processing Units (SPUs), and Line Processing Units (LPUs).
The UGW9811 supports PGP-16, PGP-X8, and PGP-X16 subracks
The Switch Fabric Unit (SFU) on the PGP-X16 switches data for the entire system. This ensures anon-blocked switching network.
The PGP-X16 has four SFUBs working in 3+1 load balancing mode.
TThe Service Processing Unit (SPU) performs functions such as service awareness and control, user packet forwarding, flow control, and QoS functions.
The SPUe is used on the PGP-16, PGP-X8 or PGP-X16 subracks.
