A subrack is a mandatory device and houses UGW9811 boards, including the Switching Route Units (SRUs), Switching Fabric Units (SFUs), Service Processing Units (SPUs), and Line Processing Units (LPUs).

Flexible IP Address Assignment
The IP address assigned to a mobile user is the static IP address specified when the user subscribes to packet services, or the dynamic IP address obtained when the PDP context/EPS bearer is activated. The UGW9811 supports both static and dynamic address assignment modes.
Integrated firewall: The number of firewalls in networking is reduced and value-added protection based on user information on the gateway is provided.
Charging function: The content-based charging solution, prepaid charging solution, postpaid charging solution, and user policy delivery solution are provided.
Service awareness and control: Based on the protocol identification and content parsing techniques and the user policy delivery solution, users' access permissions are determined according to users' subscription information.
