A subrack is a mandatory device and houses UGW9811 boards, including the Switching Route Units (SRUs), Switching Fabric Units (SFUs), Service Processing Units (SPUs), and Line Processing Units (LPUs).
Flexible Card Line Processing Unit(LPUF-51,two sub-slots) which enhances networking flexibility and provides low-cost and customized solutions supports packet forwarding at the line speed. Flexible Card Line Processing Unit(LPUF-51,two sub-slots) provides two 1/2-width slots, and each slot holds one FPIC.
The LPUF-51 supports L3VPN.
An FPIC supports the following functions:

Automatic recovery of configurations

Intermixing with other types of FPICs
If no ma-defend policy is configured, users can access O&M services through physical interfaces.
The LPUF—51 is used on the PGP-X8, PGP-X16 or PGP-16 subracks.
